we booked a room for 2 nights for 238 Argentinian pesos (special offer on Booked.net) and as we wanted to check out, they asked us to pay 238 US$, many times more than we were supposed to pay. We had a long discussion where they told us it was a mistake of Booked.net and we need to pay for it. In the end the hotel management was fair and charged us only for the 238 AS$ but we wasted so much time to discuss about this and got very angry as it was not our mistake at all.

The rooms were truly very good
Hotel messed up reservation and did not have rooms ready upon arrival, although they fixed this soon enough. Also, breakfast area was small and cramped, clearly not appropriate to the size of the hotel (we had to queue to have breakfast, which I think is unacceptable)

The hotel was located in a bustling area perfect for Christmas time. It was close to many shops and cafes, making it easy to grab a last minute gift or snack. the room itself was quite spacious, offering plenty of room for all of the presents and luggage we brought with us. the staff was also friendly and welcoming.
The hotel fell short in a few areas. the noise level was unbearable at night, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

Great location in central Buenos Aires. Easy access to public transportation and plenty of restaurants and shops around. The hotel lobby has a nice decor, and the breakfast is good with enough variety to start the day well. The staff is friendly, and the room was clean.
The room was cramped and outdated. The bed was uncomfortable, and the air conditioning didn't work properly.
